Covid-19 and a Return to Cricket Activity
Along with sports clubs up and down the country, we have been unable to offer our usual services due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. We will still await guidance from the ECB about whether we can possibly play any cricket at all this season.
We, like all of our senior and junior members, are obviously deeply frustrated with the situation but understand that the safety of our members, their families and the wider community remains the number one priority.
The ECB have however recently issued guidance on a return to activity in a cricket club setting, enabling our juniors and seniors to start some form of cricket training in small groups whilst adhering to strict social distancing measures. We advise everybody to read the full guidance before returning to the club:
In light of this guidance, we are in the process of formulating a plan to return to some form of training in small numbers for both seniors and juniors. We will be providing an update very soon.
