Minster successful with Chance to Shine application

More great news for the club as we discover our application for the Chance to Shine scheme has been succesful. Chance to Shine is a charity dedictaed to promoting participation in cricket amongst youngsters is state schools. In partnership with Kent Cricket, clubs were given the opportunity to send in applications for the programme.

We are delighted to announce our application was successful, and so we will have a coach delivering training sessions and generally promoting the club on our behalf to try and bolster our junior numbers, which is great news.

In addition to providing a coach to deliver in schools on our behalf, Kent Cricket's Community Team will manage communications with schools, design materials to promote the club within schools, support planning and delivery of competitions for local schools to be held at Minster, orgaqnise a "launch" event at the club with the Kent Cricket mascot, attend some of our own coaching sessions to provide support and deliver assemblies in schools with our Junior Co-Ordinator, Callum Hughes.

We hope this will really help increase our numbers in time for our pre-season training sessions, details of which can be found on the "Training" section, and ultimately help our squads for matches this year and the coming years.
